Episode 4 - Mediaphile

This week we teach everyone how to incorporate media elements in your application such as Audio and Video. Greg treats us to a nice lesson of how to create universally compatible layouts through the use of 9-patch and gradients. For the first time we take live questions from the studio audience and the chat room.

Episode 3 - Analyse This

We had one of our best episodes yet talking about how to monetize apps through advertisements and how to create custom ones. In addition we taught how to implement analytics in your app and how important analytics are to improving user experience. Our special guest for the show was Scott Mountenay, a web developer who has entered the Android ecosystem. He speaks about his experience, opinions, and favourite things about developing for Android. Episode 2 - Feed Me!

Episode 3 is full of information for both beginners and competent developers alike. We cover Java syntax, how to parse RSS XML Feeds, and we even got to see Greg get fancy with ListViews! As a special treat we had our first Skype guest interview with Mike Wallace, the lead developer and owner of Rise Software. He filled us in on his experience of developing for Android and gave us some great tips to save time.
